Hans Kirchstetter has completed local schools in Bavaria and achieved a master degree in physics from the TUM. His academic education was with global recognized scientists including Nobel laureats. He also completed a degree in Business Administration from University Hagen.

He started his career in the semiconductor business, working for a Global Player, initially in a product technology group with responsibilities for Dynamic Random Access Memories (DRAM) on development, "ramp-up", transfer and joint-venture projects in Europe, Asia and US. He continued in the communications business where he holds positions as project leader in transatlantic software and hardware development programs, heading groups in Europe and US. Finally, he has led system engineering and product management for broadband access equipment to develop technological well advanced optical communication products.

He continued with a Global Service Player in the IT business, working for subsidiaries around Europe. He holds positions as a product launch and as a product manager to deliver business processes solutions into new markets of the digital networked economy, followed by a position as technology adviser and as an infrastructure planner. Further positions followed as a technology analyst in the business strategy division and as a product manager for the small and medium business. Finally he was as business and channel development manager responsible for sales order values.

After positions as team leader in the medium sized machinery and plant constructions sector for implementation of the updated European Council's Machinery Directive, he holds positions as team and as group leader in a medium sized enterprise with business in the sector of Scientific Research facilities and the High Tech industrial sector.

At present he is working as a consultant in the entrepreneurship arena with focus on quantum technologies of the 2nd generation.
